Hundreds Dance Their Worries Out At #PentFriday [Photos]

Scores of students and non students alike danced out their worries and hearts at a Friday Music Jam organized as part of ‘Afrocentrix’ – African Union Hall’s (Pent) Hall week.

With music from Live FM’s DJ Mingle, the party came alive with music banging across all genres; from hip hop to dancehall to afrojams.

Pentagon, as the private hostel on the campus of University of Ghana main campus is popularly known has gained prominence for its entertaining and well patronized hall week celebrations over the years. This year’s has been no different.

Tomorrow is the climax for the long week celebration. Last year Shatta Wale headlined their artists nights with Omar Sterling, Ebony (now late), Feli Nuna and a host of other musicians passing through. This year’s as announced is going to be no different as R2Bees is expected to headline the event with La Meme Gang and a host of other musicians performing.

  1. I love when you show photos of your kitchen, and the inside of your house in general, because it makes me feel normal. Usually when I see other bloggers” photos of the inside of their home, I wonder, “Where is all your stuff??? And I have to laugh whenever those bloggers say something self-deprecating about how “messy their living room is, because it”s always basically pristine and the mess consists of a handful of toys which actually go together (e.g., a set of blocks, or puppets, or toy animals) scattered on the floor, and maybe one seasonally-appropriate piece of outerwear tossed on a chair or something. It”s as if they were doing a photo shoot for an article that was supposed to depict a “messy home, and they started with an empty set with new living room furniture , and then the person who was supposed to bring all the props to the set to make it look “messy got stuck in traffic, so the photographer”s assistant”s assistant, who happens to have two kids, dumped out the contents of her handbag, and they just made do with that. “Oh, I”m sooo embarrassed! Please excuse the terrible mess!
