FERTILITY TEST

She is a she! In the delivery room, she cried her loudest, she was at the peak of her pain. It seemed so scary and very unbearable but she deserved it more than anything else, though she never desired it. A “He” sowed the seed in her fertility, after bouts of erotic sessions but she bore the excruciating pains solely. Now even before this, she had gone through days of fatigue, extreme dizziness, heightened nausea, indigestion, discomforts, backaches, headaches and all the other aches. She cared less; whether it would be worth it or not, some few moments to come, because it had not being easy from day one.
The guys around merely motivated her to push harder but the truth of the matter; none of them was going through a minute quarter of her experience at that moment. Now by dint of “hardpush” a head starts to come out, she pushes until birth is given. “A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world” – John 16:21
“No matter how great the talents or efforts, some things just take time. You cant produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant” – Warren Buffet. That goal or aim of yours at it’s conception sounds like a really nice idea. The fact that you are able to have an objective in life means you are potent, you are fertile and you can conceive. The problem is you are going to bear the struggle on your own. The road to success, though a highway is filled with potholes and any one on it is bound to hit it. It’s only worth it, just not easy. Run through that distance and walk through the rough roads. There is no shortcut to heaven but if you happen to find one you wont reach.
“The man on top of the mountain didn’t fall there” – Vince Lombardi. The cycle takes rough time and rapt processes to be completed. Be like the “She”, take the pains, live through the discomfort and push to a succesful delivery. If you fail at one attempt do not forget there are other chances after miscarriage. Also do not be impotent or imfertile, find that purpose. The other most important day in your life apart from the day you are born is the day you find out “why”, as said by the men of old.
If it ever crosses your mind that your time is never coming never forget it takes a man 9 months before pushing, a lioness 3 months+ before pushing, for an elephant 22months and the list goes on. In your struggle, just don’t give up. Rome was not built in a day, history has it that it took a millenium. Ancient Rome, the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the Great Wall of China are all what they are because time and effort went into them. For Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest, it took 30 years.
Meanwhile, on your way to the top, do not forget to let Jesus lead so thou may follow. The struggle was made real so that you may know how real God also is. Have that faith, accompanied with works and leave the rest to God, His time and His chance. Work through the struggle to the extent that when mortality ceases you will be remembered as an Ali, not as a Banku. I wish you a very safe gestation period and a succesful delivery. I wish you Success! See you in the delivery room where joy overshadows pain!!
Raymond A. Opoku,
Adios.
