Mr. Awuah said PIC believes in the Foundation as an important part of building the university and hence the donation. He added, “We would like to emphasise that we are happy to be strategic partners of KNUST and the university should expect more from us.”

He noted that rebranding the KNUST fresh yoghurt into an attractive one through proper packaging and good customer service had increased sales phenomenally because currently, the company was making ten times more than before the rebranding.

Professor Kwasi Obiri-Danso, the Vice-Chancellor, expressed the university’s appreciation to PIC and the board of the KNUST Dairy Company. He was hopeful that the company would continue to assist the university in its efforts to attain equity, sustainability and the achievement of high standards.

Present at the donation were Mr. Ato Awuah and Mr. Mitchell Osei Donkor, all executive directors of the company.
