HOPKINS NURSING COLLEGE

HOPKINS NURSING COLLEGE

HOPKINS Health Sciences is strategically positioned and connected to train General Nurses to augment health care delivery in Ghana. We are Accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ghana (NAB) and Affiliated to the University Of Cape Coast, Ghana.
The prevalent high patient to nurse ratio warrants the need to train more nurses. The Public Sector has not enough Institutions to train nurses to meet the national requirement. This has necessitated the Private Sector Institutions training more nurses to augment the Public Sector in the spirit of Public-Private partnership.
HOPKINS NURSING COLLEGE offers an opportunity to improve the situation by training humane and competent polyvalent general nurses to practice professional nursing in various health settings in this country and beyond.
HOPKINS Nursing programme will prepare students to provide high quality patient and health care services. Cardinal to the programme is a dedication to inculcate in our students and department the values and skills necessary for the pursuit of life-long learning and dedication to community service.
Our graduates will possess clinical and technical competence and skills necessary for the practice of professional nurse, utilizing practice-based learning and understanding that the professional nurse is an in integral member of the health care team.
