The Hilla Limann Hall of the University of Ghana is set to commence it’s 2020 Hall Week celebrations which will see one time Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artist of the year Joe Mettle headlining its gospel rock show.
Joe Mettle is regarded as one of the top Ghanaian musicians and one of the leaders in the gospel industry. Joe Mettle has not attended any campus event in a while which means this will see his fans throng the premises of Limann to sing along with the ‘Owanwani’ hitmaker.
The Gospel show is scheduled for Sunday 1st March 2020 in front of the Hall and this will be after an interdenominational service for residents of the Hall.
Among other things, there will be eye screening, talent shows, free breakfast, FIFA competition, Islamic dialogue before the week-long celebration is climaxed with an Artiste night.
Speaking to LegonConnect, the Organizing Secretary of the Hilla Limann Junior Common Room Gabby Brunny noted that “we have put in a lot of energy, time and resources to give residents of the wonderful Hall a memorable Hall Week celebration like never seen before.”
He added that “to this end, we expect that residents will fully participate in the activities and come out in their numbers because this is for them. It is because of them that we are doing this and they must own it.”
