Courses Offered At Narh Bita Nursing Training College

The College programmes for Diploma and Certificate are:
a) The Registered General Nursing (Diploma), a three (3) year programme approved by the Ministry of Health (MOH) has been accredited by both Nurses and Midwives Council for Ghana (NMC) and the National Accreditation Board. The programme is being mentored by the University of Ghana, Legon.
b) The Medical Assistantship (Advance Diploma), a three (3) year direct programme, has been approved by the Ministry of Health and has also received accreditation from the National Accreditation Board to operate from 1st January, 2009. All formalities have been completed with regards to affiliation with the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
c) The Certificate programme for Health Assistant Clinical (HAC) and the Medical Laboratory Technicians have the approval of the Ministry of Health.
The Nursing curricula is regulated by the Nurses and Midwives Council (NMO). The Academic Board shall in consultation with the affiliated Universities, Ministry of health (MOH) and the Nurses and Midwives Council for Ghana implement and review the curricula and also award certificates and diplomas to students who satisfy the examination requirements.More about the MA program / Applications
